Primer VR has brought together expert teams of storytellers, animators, and experience designers to create the Roomi universe. Together, we believe in the power of providing advanced applications that positively impact healthcare outcomes for patients.
Roomi VR and AR elevates hospitals and healthcare brands to the next stage of pediatric patient engagement. This initial Roomi VR episode blends modern technologies with a targeted creative design to help make the lives of children suffering from broken bones a little easier.
In future VR experiences, Roomi and friends will apply their trademark sympathy, care and understanding in more medically vetted area of pediatrics. From congenital illnesses and cancer treatments, to neural and cognitive necessities, Roomi and his friends will be there to support and educate pediatric patients as they cope with their medical conditions.
Simplicity
We specifically designed the Roomi Universe experience to be simple and seamless for both the hospital staff and family members. Access to the Roomi content and technology is quick and easy.
Adventure
The story design, animation, and medically vetted experience serves to educate young patients in a relatable way while their fears and pain are reduced through empathic characters and a vivid world. In short, Roomi and his friends transform a child's sickness and treatment into adventure.
Continuity
RoomiVR is delivered through headsets in hospital and clinic waiting rooms. Later, at home Roomi visits the real worlds of these children through an augmented reality application that can be launched from phones and tablets, providing continued companionship, familiarity, and social interaction during the healing process. Coupled together, the VR and AR experience provide comfort as children transition between medical settings and their real worlds outside.
